As a result, for about three months, more hair falls out at the same time. But over a slightly longer period (usually about the first six months after the birth), it balances out. In any case, be careful with your hair care during this period: use (gently) a comb instead of a brush, use a mild shampoo, dry your hair with warm air and avoid perms and dyes.
If, nine months after giving birth, you have the impression that hair loss refuses to improve, discuss this with your gynecologist or go see a dermatologist. He or she will check whether you have any dietary deficiencies that need to be treated as a result of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
